Tis’ the Season
It truly is the most wonderful time of the year. With family gathered around, delicious food on the table and young ones running between legs, there is a lot to be thankful for. Before everyone rips open presents and digs into their plates, we hope you’ll give this a read. Just a few things to keep in mind today.
Be mindful of your blessings. Many of us are surrounded by loved ones, in a warm home with smiles everywhere. But there are some who aren’t, and we hope your thoughts, as ours are, are with them.
Take the time to catch up on rest. Holiday hours can be rough, especially overtime or night shifts. You’ve done your part to make sure presents were bought and dinner was made. Be sure to get a good night's sleep during your holiday break.
Practice moderation where it matters. With family over it can be easy to get carried away eating or with a few drinks. Enjoy yourself, but keep in mind all the hard work you’ve done this year to live a healthy life. A slippery slope often begins with one step.
Practice safe precautions. Traveling conditions because of the weather and traffic can be rough, but take the time to get to your destination safely. Driving sober, paying attention to the road and not your phone, and buckling up are all little things that go a long way.
Lastly, live in the moment. Here at Vitamea, mental health is just as important as physical health. Laugh loudly, take pictures, goof off and enjoy the holidays however you celebrate them. The past few years have made family gatherings hard, so make the best memories.
From our family to yours,
Merry Christmas, Vitamea
